The current list of so called celebs this year is without doubt the most desperate for a while. Its little wonder real celebs wont go in, after all the whole premiss of the show these days is built on the premiss of mayhem and fights. No self respecting celeb would put themselves up for that, so we end up with the dregs like Collins and an x druggie who will no doubt take the money and shove it up her nose.

Surely they are slowly but surely signing the death warrant of CBB by following this tact. The secret is no outside contact, no outsider info through dumb ass tasks with viewer opinions, better tasks, stronger rules and no late arrivals. Gettting back to the old BB premiss might save it or have they already decided to milk it and send it to a-its grave well screwed and buggered. Ive already stopped watch BOTS and now I will probably only watch the eviction until Collins gets oiked as I couldn't stand watching her on a daily basis.

Yeah if they took it back to basics, or at least closer to how it used to be I'd enjoy it more too. But on the subject of how famous the celebs are, It doesn't really matter to me. I'm generally not fussed about celebrity culture so I wouldn't watch it just for the 'big names', I'm more bothered about them choosing people with interesting personalities.

To be fair it hasnt started yet so im gonna wait to see how it goes, give it a chance before writing it off!! or have you made your mind up already?? :nono: im like the poster above not bothered about big names just good personalities

Naturally we all hope for a big start, but every year they do the same old crap with the secret this and stupid task that everyone expects it now and its always a damp squid anyway. Its getting like the normal BB but the added juice they add comes from celebs that deliberately want to go in and are desperate for the money. They promise the earth to get in, then hide behind the sofas frightened to come out and do anything that might tarnish their already crap reputation. Westbrook is lucky to get free pizzas these days on the back of her name, now she is being painted as someone special. She is a burnt out druggie and wasn't even a good actress anyway.

Exactly, we can only wait and see what the next few days after launch brings.

As always some celebs will surprise us how actually likeable they are.

I have an open mind. I must say though, I only know about four who are going in. The rest, I haven't a clue who they are. :D

I haven't got the foggiest of who some of these people are,lol, so I'm off to a good start.

The most unknown celebs usually make the best show. Because they have less to lose, so they let go more. Big celebs usually are a let down, because they have a reputation to keep. lol Sometimes they can be good, like Stephen Baldwin, who was just nuts. :laugh:

I've come to really appreciate the 'not really a celebrity' type because they don't have anything to live up to in my expectations. So many celebrities that I knew before going in turn out to be watered down wimps.

I bet the 'celebs' felt it was a right kick in the teeth for them. :joker:

After I read the guest list, I thought they had started this year with the normal BB. However £100,000 for Gemma Collins is daft, she will eat that in Twinkies and chips this year.
