I kinda of am happy but at the same time I also kinda wish they hadn't released it

Ross. 05-01-2016 04:24 PM

Normally I wouldn't but it's actually made me more excited this time

I don't care

why have they done it tho?

Black Dagger 05-01-2016 04:25 PM

I'm not bothered. I'd love for the series to have absolutely no rumours and whoever goes in goes in but that just isn't going to happen in this day and age so just learnt to accept it.

Trying to replicate the success of BB16?

MB. 05-01-2016 04:25 PM

I'd usually rather wait until the launch, but since we already knew the line-up there wasn't a point in pretending there'd still be any sort of surprise element

Loukas 05-01-2016 04:26 PM

i'm not sure, some of the fun of launch night is finding out.. now im just waiting for them to enter
but tbh it's only a tv show, i don't really care.

AProducer'sWetDream 05-01-2016 04:26 PM

If it hadn't have been for all the leaks and rumours then I would say no, but since we pretty much already knew anyway it was nice to have official confirmation.

Jordan. 05-01-2016 04:27 PM

Not too bothered :gina:

Guuki 05-01-2016 04:28 PM

I didn't like the idea before 'Timebomb' and I don't like the idea now. Launch night should reveal all the secrets, not Facebook or Instagram...

There weren't any secrets to reveal

Xtopher 05-01-2016 04:29 PM

I prefer it this way.

Jason. 05-01-2016 04:32 PM

Not really. Part of the excitement of launch night is finding out who's going to go in and it's not really a CBB thing to reveal the lineup before the series starts like IAC does. But like Lucas and MB say, the papers pretty much have had it correct for the past few series so that surprise element is no longer present in this day and age which is shame, but w/e.

zakman440 05-01-2016 04:37 PM

I voted for not sure. I think that it is a good idea for the contestants to be confirmed before the launch (for CBB only), but they could have gone about it in a completely different way if it was their plan to do this the entire time. They could have drummed up a lot of hype if they did what Strictly does and confirm a celebrity in the weeks building up to the show in different outlets (GMB, This Morning, Loose Women etc). There was an opportunity to be taken here but they probably only decided to release them in one batch today because the Star leaked them on Sunday. If they plan on doing this in the future however, they should do what I've listed here.

Braden 05-01-2016 04:38 PM

Not particularly, but obviously I'll have to wait and see what happens.

I just get the feeling that this series will be boring. idk why?

Edit: oh I've completely answered the wrong thread :joker:

VanessaFeltz. 05-01-2016 05:33 PM

I think for cbb i dont think so because if i didnt know new york going in i wouldnt even watch it.

But for civilian big brother they should keep it secret

basically this.

I was less excited for CBB16 after hearing the line up.

Pete. 05-01-2016 05:35 PM

Yes because it confirmed Tiff

Crimson Dynamo 05-01-2016 05:45 PM

yes much better idea

i would also make spoilers compulsory for all tv programs

just to fck up precious people

mistybluesea 05-01-2016 05:59 PM

I'd prefer if they didn't because I like the surprise of who goes in. I can't resist the temptation of looking either once I know it's out.

Shaun 05-01-2016 06:01 PM

Just voted no because one or two surprises would've been nice :fist:

Lostie! 05-01-2016 06:12 PM

Not bothered really, I usually know most of the line-up come launch night anyway. It's regular BB where I prefer to not have confirmation (so I hope they don't do that this summer like they did with BB16).

RichardG 05-01-2016 06:17 PM

idk the past few launch nights have been kind of boring, some of the fun was always hoping for a couple of surprises. :worry: I like the cast though so it's made me more excited for the actual series
