Great news for freaks that use Twitter

Isn't the whole point of twitter that you can only post short quick updates? How is twitter different from any other social media site now if you can do really long posts? :shrug:

When they do that, it´s not really twitter anymore, only in name.

(Meaning that it was originally a microblog service for quick updates on events surrounding the user him/herself or his surroundings/environment)
