I disagree with how she went on, but I seriously doubt it was about his colour.

No she was just angry at what he had said and would not apologise either. Think his race or colour had nothing at all to do with it and Emma would of been the same with anyone.

It may not have been directly and conciously about his colour or gender but imagine if one of the pretty young white women had said that about gay adoption. Would Emma have treated them the same way? I don't think she would.
