Winston cries in tonights CBB!
 

It's Winston McKenzie's last day in the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight and his comments about gay adoption are still the focus.


In this evening's show, which recaps the highlights from inside the house yesterday before the eviction, Gemma jokes to Winston “how are you feeling about your last day in the house Winston?”

He replies, “how the hell do you know that?” and Tiffany chips in “that’s really ******ed up.” Gemma reassures them both that “it’s a bit of banter.”

I cannot stand Gemma. She makes me want to throw things at my TV. I didn't think I would dislike her this much, but I do :laugh:

I like Gemma but her tact could really do with some work. :unsure:

I for one won't take any pleasure in Winston getting upset, I never like people crying.

it makes the behaviour of the producers and Emma later in the day all the more questionable too

I don't think I can sit through another hour of Winston being vilified,I think everyone got the message last night.and Gemma needs to shut her stupid mouth up.

Even my brother (who is gay) says it's completely ridiculous, just a stupid comment by a stupid man.

Back on topic, i don't think Gemma knows how to shut her mouth, she seems to be in everyones business!

This seems to be the view of a lot of gay people, from what I have seen on my FB feed and in my friend group.

The truth is that gay people can adopt and foster children, so what does it matter what an out of date bigot thinks:shrug:

Winston is not a bigot. The bigots are, by definition, the ones who want to prevent him having an opinion.

So what are the people who are trying to shout down those understandably offended by certain remarks from having their opinions? :)

Where has anyone claimed you can't have that opinion?

You need to re-examine your use of the term "by definition", and then probably take it out.

Bigot n. intolerant adherant of a creed or view.

His view is that gay couples should not be allowed to adopt as it's paramount to child abuse, this is an intolerant view based on sexuality, thus making him a bigot!

Isnt that 2 things?

a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions.

Winston is not trying to stifle anyone's opinions but all of his detractors are.

He's not intolerant to it though.

I really cannot believe they have turned this into some huge homophobia scandal.

Winston hasn't even been homophobic. He gave a political/religious view. He doesn't hate anyone.

If we had a referendum on gay adoption tomorrow then I reckon at least 50% of voters would be against it.
