I felt sorry for her

Ok so its a known fact I like Megan and that several people don't and I know what she was trying to say in the diary room didn't seem to make a whole lot of sense cos it was all this **** and that **** etc. I feel for her that she wasn't there to say goodbye to her granddad I wasn't there to say goodbye to my Dad as he died suddenly and that is something you never get back.

I think she regrets the lifestyle she chose and yes she is a bit misplaced in the house at times because Stephanie will spill it all out and talk about things thus gaining the sympathy of others where as Megan hasn't really cept to Stephanie for a moment as she admitted. I think she needs to integrate more with the group and try and have fun with the girls. I thought she was incredible in the talent competition by the way. It was easy for Stephanie to be good she was on X factor as was Christopher. Darren is a stage star so its his job to sing well, John Partridge is an actor singer and dancer, Kristina is a dancer. I think the stars were Megan, the two lads with their spoof of swan lake, and I thought that Gemma and Daniella were horribly good.

I wont change my opinion of Meg on tonights little diary room chat. In all fairness how many have gone in there the past few days ranting and raving. I think she saw the sympathy the lads had for Steph and she said herself that her granddad was watching over her and it made her think of her own situation

I felt sorry for her too

Josy 10-01-2016 09:08 PM

Well it was her choice to be off working on ex on the beach and 'shagging' << her own words and true.

Lots of us don't have a chance to say goodbye to loved ones but the way she brought it up randomly felt as if she was thinking she should be getting more attention in the house than she was.

Of course it's sad when someone loses a loved one but if she feels she hasn't come to terms with the loss then maybe CBB isn't the place to be right now.

Cherie 10-01-2016 09:09 PM

I tuned out during Stephs ramblings what was her problem?

MB. 10-01-2016 09:10 PM

I thought it was an honest take on things at the least, which from the reality stars on this show is something we see rarely and that's probably enough - even if she did follow it up by claiming that we live in the 20th century

Vicky. 10-01-2016 09:13 PM

Load of self indulgent waffle to me tbh.

Who cares about ME?! I was off shagging people while my grandad died, everyone should feel sorry for me for that. No love, you chose to do that, its your ****ing issue. No sympathy.

If her grandad died suddenly like mine did while I was on holiday she didn't exactly choose between the two and think yeah Portugal and sex.

Amy Jade 10-01-2016 09:15 PM

This is a thread I should leave since I feel it's similar to mine and I felt the same sort of guilt she did so ill leave you all to it

She still chose to be away, that's no one elses fault.

And lots of peoples family members die suddenly, it doesn't mean everyone has to give them constant attention.

She DIDNT bring it up randomly. She brought it up after Stephanie telling some of the housemates she was in the same situation. Yes I question the choices of girls to do these shows but many young women seem to be working on them these days.

Amy if your done then stop quoting my posts with questions since it's a discussion thread?

And no I never said anything like that so don't twist my words please.

Death does happen, it doesn't hold back until a more convenient time for the persons family members.

Yes it's sad that the girls granddad died but her speech in the DR was nothing more than her being upset that some in the house ie Stephanie was getting more attention than she was IMO, she said she wasn't one to talk about her feelings too yet there she was in the DR letting the British public know about it.

Kazanne 10-01-2016 09:24 PM

She's just a self absorbed type who probably hated Steph winning and getting all that attention, and I didn't even know she had sex as her grandad died so I presume a lot of others didn't so she chooses to tell the nation, lol, who with anything about them has sex on TV anyway.

Oh Amy Jade my poor Dad wasn't even seventy and I am even getting emotional thinking about it now. You see my husband and I live only a mile from my parents house and the years before he died we were here for 50 weeks of the year and up the country for 2 weeks. I saw him every single day of my life. He and my Mum were sposed to join us on the holiday but he died the night before they were due to come up.

I know Megans situation is different and I don't like those shows and don't even watch them but I had to feel sorry for her. Even if elderly people aren't feeling well they can linger on for weeks and months and if she is contracted to do a show she couldn't have known he would pass away while she wasn't there

Vicky. 10-01-2016 09:26 PM

I was wondering what on earth the poor BB voice was thinking during that speech, but this put it so much better than I could

I would've been really interested to hear how BB tried to comfort her. I mean, what can you say to that?

She said she had sex on tv in the task the other night and if she didn't like Steph winning why did she go and sit in the garden and try and comfort her saying that her granddad was watching over her

She's still doing trashy reality TV away from her family so she can't regret it that much.

Attention seeking imo.

Kizzy 10-01-2016 10:13 PM

I felt for her she seems to have a lot of guilt about being away, he may have been ill a while. I can see it seemed a bit whingy but to me it came across genuine....If it wasn't stick her in hollyoaks!

jet 11-01-2016 12:03 AM

Awww, I'm not keen on her but she's young and I feel she's a bit mixed up. I felt her emotions were genuine even if they were about her not getting enough attention from the others who were all over Stephanie. Some people just have a knack of getting sympathy and attention from others when they need it and others don't. I think Megan knows she is of the latter kind. I'm sure she felt rejected too when they gave Steph the win over her when she was obviously much better. Poor kid.

Maru 11-01-2016 01:28 AM

Pretty clear she doesn't know what unconditional love really is. I doubt she at heart was really upset with Stephanie, but they are so similar in this group that perhaps she perceives her as competition. So perhaps jealousy. I can't fault her for that with such low self-esteem. What she didn't see was Stephanie was having a healthy genuine moment. She too could've benefited from the atmosphere (Meghan) if she would drop her wall a bit and let others get to know her. Poor girl.

These young girls perception of self-love is so screwed up. Particularly in shows like Jersey Shore and The Bachelor (US shows) where they are plied with buckets of money (well, not always), temptation, attention, fame, and artificial validation to do these shows. Meghan clearly has self-esteem and emotional problems. Producers see this as an advantage to get great footage and ratings. Meanwhile they vent to the camera on those love shows thinking people give a damn when in fact they're generally treated as a product. That probably explains her bit at the end about people in this century don't give a ****. She opened a vault worth of crap she normally never opens and then realized in the end she is a product anyway. Hince her angsty "People don't give a **** about other people" bit.
