World\'s oldest woman dies at 115

From BBC News Online

Quote:

The world's oldest woman has died at the age of 115 in a Montreal retirement home, Canadian media have reported.

Julie Winnefred Bertrand was born 16 September 1891 in the Quebec mill town of Coaticook near the US border.

She was officially proclaimed the world's oldest woman, and the second oldest person, after the death of American Elizabeth Bolden in December

She must have been thankful for every day she had. She looks quite healthy for 115.

:bawling::bawling:I can't handle these death threads :bawling:
I'm such a lightweight when it comes to death  heart attacks and cancer etc depress me more, I wouldn't mind dying so much, if I was fighting my way through packs of zombies, or something lol, it doesn't seem as depressing. Bring on Z day!! http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i1...ouse/rifle.gif

Sunny_01 24-01-2007 10:37 AM

I can not think of anything worse than living to 115, I seriously never want to live that long.

I hope that she had a peaceful passing

Siouxsie 24-01-2007 11:11 AM

stacey 24-01-2007 03:55 PM

is it just me or if any deaths happen does sticks always post them nobody else lol slightly creepy he knows all about deaths
i want to live to her age i bet she saw loads in the 115 years

Legend 24-01-2007 06:53 PM

Nah, i think that once she got to a certain age she will have been house/nursing home bound. I really couldn't see 90-115 being the most exciting and eventful years of your life. That said, i still want to live untill i'm that old.

Ruth*Star 24-01-2007 07:48 PM

Aww Bless her, she looks happy for her age, she must of been very healthy for her to live that long, but i hope she had a peaceful passing.
