Nice coded racism, Daniella.
I'm not one to get PC about stuff, but this was pretty vivid.
Daniella's "nobody feels safe here! She needs to get out. I don't feel safe." Tiff didn't get physical or anything. There have literally been no signs of that happening. She might as well have said, "that black girl is aggressive!" What a leathery old hag she is. :nono: |

It reminded me of when that vile specimen Natalie Cassidy suddenly declared that she didn't feel safe in her bed with Andrew Stone around. |
I heard that too.

Tiffany was being aggressive, it's absurd that people who didn't like that are now suddenly being branded racist. |
Well through everything that happened on tonight's highlights I must say I never picked up on any racism at all.
C'mon now. |
Washed up druggy who's 19 year old boyfriend is only going to steal all of her fee anyway.
NEW YORK REMAINS WINNING |
Daniella is far more of a loose canon than Tiffany.

I saw no racism.

No racism...just over reaction and pack mentality.

It might not have resonated as loudly for non-U.S. viewers, due to a different cultural climate within North America.
Specifically, Tiff being African-American; there comes with that hyphenated combo several stereotypes that aren't as prevalent with regards to black English people. For instance, the unspoken fear that seemed to express anxieties regarding the possibility of Tiff turning "ghetto" and beating the sh*t out of someone. Tiff doesn't take sh*t, but she showed no sign of getting physical. I mean, think about it. An African-American girl from Utica is yelling, and everyone is suddenly expressing concerns for physical safety? I'm not saying that they sat around and spouted off the "n-word," or that they even referred to her as "ghetto," or anything like that. Rather, I'm pointing out the context of what they said and how the words were pretty racially packed. |
Everything is racist...
|
Or maybe she has seen Flavor of Love or Heard stories about the show from the other housemates and saw that side of Tiffany come out...
|
yea i didnt think it was racist. she was acting like a nut but it was an overreaction. many were doing that in last nights ep.

We are a week in and i don't even know who danielle is. The only women's names i know is gemma cause she's fat and angie cause she's old. i honestly have no idea who the other women in the house are.

I saw no racism. In fact I think her assessment was pretty accurate Tiff was really irrational their was no need to go off at Angie like she did.
|
Yeah I didn't particularly think it was racist? I could see how it'd be interpreted that way but I also saw people saying that John was racist for saying that she'd only come out for a plate of chicken - which I'm pretty sure is what they were cooking at the time

100% disagree - Daniella was taking it from her perspective - the situation was volatile and could have gone off - she had every right to say that. |

I didn't see any racism and you know someone can think that girl is crazy and aggressive without it being about the colour of her skin.

How on earth would you think it was racist? The colour of Tiffanys skin has nothing to do with the fact that she was bawling and screetching as if everyone in the world had dropped dead. I don't blame the housemates for getting a huge shock. Talk about dramatics !!!! Daniella went down in my estimation because she over reacted and sat huddled in the garden but why on earth is the racism card being bandied about.
