The Greatest Comic CBB Ever.

First: Thank you Angie and Tiffany (and some of the others) for the most gut-achingly hilarious incident in CBB history.

This series was advertised as having a Vaudevillian theme which has not until now been the case, but, oh brother, was it worth waiting for - a comic farce worthy of the great Ben Travers. I was crying with laughter, and it could not have played out better had it all been scripted. And here's how the Fates combined to bring us TV Gold:

1. One of the Golden Rules of BB, is that ALL HM's shall be totally
isolated from outside news and events.

2. Despite the above, Dotty dodderer Angie - that living breathing
shambolic testament to the long term adverse effects of an
excessive lifestyle - has been secretly informed by BB that her
ex-husband David Bowie had died.

3. Despite his legendary staus, David Bowie has been passe
for a long time and his illness was not general public knowledge
prior to the HM's entering.

4. David Gest had been looking increasingly ill and finally had been
ordered to bed to rest, where he completely covered himself up
under the blanket - shroud-like - from head to toe and was laid
-- corpse-like -- motionless and deeply asleep.

5. Tiffany - an American, and therefore probably possessed of a
deeper bond to fellow American David Gest - was told out-of-the-
blue by Angie, simply that; "David is dead" and understandably
assumed that Angie was referring to David Gest.

6. After ascertaining that Angie was not joking (or carrying out a
'secret task') Tiffany was - understandably - in a state of shock
and was therefore less capable of 'rational' thought than normal.

7. What compounded the misunderstanding was when Tiffany asked
Angie "When did this happen?" and she replied "Just now".

The frenetic farce which followed was gloriously funny and worthy of Ben Travers, The Three stooges and The Marx Brothers:

"She told me David's dead"

Stampede by the idiots to David Gests bed where they find him shrouded and motionless.

Cue David Essex from 'Evita':

"Oh what a circus, oh what a show.
The House Mates have gone to town
Over the death of a David - Bowie or Gest
They don't really care, as long as they can impress,
Mourning all day and mourning all night
Falling over ourselves to get all - of the misery right"

Thank you, thank you, thank you Angie and Tiff
(And David G for playing the part of a stiff)

This transformed a mundane borefest into TV Gold.
