Your wrong it was obvious she couldn't hold back the tears it was not fake

She was married to him for 10 years during his rise to the position of cultural icon. It must have been an amazing time and they must have shared a lot of stuff, including a child. I know she doesn't see the child now... but even so, it must have been a shock to hear he was dead. I was shocked, and I'm just a fan.

Before you condemn Chuff, take a look at the tape again. She was tearless when speaking about David but then she mentioned the passing of her own mother which brought on the tearfull episode. This woman has been making a parasite living off the back of her relationship with Bowie for over 20 years and she has slated him at every occasion as long as there was money involved. Her son hates her, Bowie hates her, everyone concerned with Bowie or his family openly discounts her as a leech and the simple fact that she has been in relationships after \bowie but chooses to keep his name might give you a clue to who she is.

She will play this her way until she can figure out how to make money from it but at the moment, sympathy will do. She isn't a nice woman at all and although she is cookie with entertaining traits, she is first and foremost a celebrity parasite.

Did you see a tear ? she was telling someone in garden later about her grief while ramming her face with a sandwich !!

Angie is the cold and callous one?

Angie's son by Bowie - Duncan Jones isn't in contact with her. Angie said this herself.
So perhaps Angie does have some issues with her emotional health.

I know that she may not be entirely to blame but Sons that cut off their mothers' are rare. Even in the most abusive of cases.

She said she wasn't going to tell anyone, but she told Tiffany because Tiffany had noticed she had been crying and she didn't want to appear weak or something. I agree Chuff she will sell a story as soon as she is out

I don't feel she was milking it at all. She could have pretended to be grief stricken and did a lot of wailing and screeching like Tiffany did when she thought Gest was dead. I think her reaction was quite in line with getting a shock like that when she didn't even know he had been ill. No matter if she doesn't care for him now, she did spend 10 years of her life with him and they must have had shared happy memories. Losing someone you think you dislike and have bad mouthed can give you a jolt of guilt and regret. We don't really know what went on between the two of them in private after all....

Grief affects everyone differently. I could never condemn someone who has lost someone who was part of their lives due to the way they react in the aftermath of being told of the death.

Her eyes weren't red ,Tiffany only complimented her hair and she broke her neck to tell her what had happened, and lets face it Cherie Tiffany hasn't been her best mate in there has she ? she will have a book out before you can blink !!

I'm have to wonder if the people bashing her because the tears didn't flow instantly actually know how grief sometimes works.

..I've been trying to avoid posting that/the complicated story and one of the reasons why their son hasn't spoken to her since he was 14yrs old...it was such a 'public rejection' as well...also, I guess none of their marriage painted David in the best light either, so I have to be fair about that...a crazy time for the both and I think not the best parenting from either...but David did go on to make amends and peace with Duncan and had a relationship with him....Angie of course couldn't do that because she had left his life ...I've never been exactly unbiased with Angie and some things about her so I'm not always looking at her fairly in the house now...

She may have spent decades slagging him off, but time has a way of catching up with one and I believe her grief is real.
