There was quite a bit of mould on a pack of cheese I purchased
 

It was 250g block of pilgrims Choice mature cheddar and had quite a bit of mould around it, should I complain?

just cut that bit off and its good to go

I did and I tasted the cheese and it was one of nicest packs I've got.

Take it back and get it exchanged

Although some mould is good for you

It it has mold on it, when you bought it, you have a right to complain and get a fresh one as compensation.

I once bought what i thought looked like a nice tomato but when i ate it it wasn't as ripe and sweet as i expected.

it cost me 2 dollars, two whole dollars! I was outraged.

I had that once, I complained and they delivered 12 free blocks of cheese to my doorstep.

I don't really eat cheese that much so it wasn't useful.

You should always complain if food is sub standard when purchased.
