WHY do people like her and why would they vote to keep her
 

I am finding it so, so hard to find why people like Gemma. She is not a team player, whinges about every task, wouldn't even get out of bed to partake in a task, is all false hair, false everything and bragging about designer stuff and how much they cost her. She lauds around the house expecting people to pick up after her. I haven't even seen her wash a cup and even when she spilt water she walked off. She had Tiffany carrying cups for her when she was taking masses of stuff to the bathroom.

She called poor Chris out for what he said about her in the task forgetting that he has up to now been a good friend to her and only nominated her because he felt she was using him. The hair straightners aren't good for her and she is ordering BB to give her heated rollers and pay for her awful hair extensions. Hello? You are getting a ****ing fat fee for going in there. She meddles in everyones business thinking she can dole out advice left right and centre instead of leaving people sort out their own stuff.

She seems to have spent more time in bed than ANY of the others. To be perfectly honest I cannot THINK of ONE thing that would make me like her. yet she is popular. I know that she could be called entertaining (although she is dictating to BB when she will turn on and off the GC entertainment) but her head is going to get more and more swollen (pardon the pun) the more she is saved. Can anyone tell me why they like her?

The over weight community in Britain is getting bigger(pardon the pun) and more than likely can relate to her.

Oh right. I'm quite slim so that explains why Tiff and Darren are my faves and not Gemma. :rolleyes:

Like it or not, she stirs the pot. Makes for good tv. Someone's gotta do it. Not much time left anyhow.

This. She's not very likeable but she brings drama to the house.

She provides comedy and drams

She's getting paid more than most people earn in a couple of years (or more) to do little else but eat, drink, snore, fart and sleep. Yet some people seem to find this entertaining? She is not amusing, as usually her 'funny digs' are meant to hurt people.
I can usually find one redeeming quality in almost everyone, but with the Collins woman, I'm struggling.

I'm not sure people especially on here, actually do like her, I think sometimes it's a wind up,as , as you say she just isn't likeable.

That's my problem with this seasons bunch, so many are completely unlikeable, and those that are likeable (ie close to normal human beings) aren't particularly entertaining.

so does Megan, i think, a lot of drama, as well as Tiffany and Steph

A lot of people like Tiffany because they think she is a diva and some people get into the whole 'queens' thing but in fact the only real diva in the house is Gemma. She is obviously spoiled but can actually be funny to watch. I'm not a fan but I do get some of the popularity for her. She is a very strong personality and love her or hate her, she makes no excuses for who she is, she is quite honest about herself.

I don't like Christopher Maloney, he is a bit of an ass kisser if you ask me and two faced. He is almost the anti Gemma. She will say it straight up front, whereas he obviously has issues with her and yet acts like her lap dog most of the time, talking about her and mimicking her behind her back.

She did not do the bike task as she is overweight and she felt ashamed and would have been shown up.

the whole money thing is Essex, its a money obsessed area where the working class have been hoodwinked by marketing to aspire to wealth and pointless brands

educationally she is very poor and therefore has little interests. She has been led to belive that self worth is only achieved through owning things and because she does not own enough (in her mind) she feels worthless and self-loathing which in turn leads to her personality and all the barriers she erects around herself

That's probably a fairly accurate assessment of her personality. She isn't very well educated but she is bright enough to promote herself as a brand and bring in some cash. She probably doesn't really run her business, someone else who is smarter most likely does the work.

I agree with all that. :thumbs: Although when it comes to Tiff, I like her non - diva side a lot! :laugh:

No,I don't buy that bit in bold LT,she happily split her difference in the bedroom,she wasn't embarrassed then.

Not Big fans of Tiffany & Megan but would pick both of them over Gemma, both can be drama queens, but at least they do something they take part in the tasks, and can occassionally be funny.

Chubbers follow the chubby one because they are empty vessels with no substance and the only thing they want is the next meal.

Fatties stick together regardless of behavior.

Luckily the non-gluttonous have sussed her out & she will be booed tonight and leave in a strop even though she will not be the housemate voted out.

That's why I like her.
