Life is Strange

An accurate depiction of me after playing this game.

If you like games such as Until Dawn, Heavy Rain, Beyond, The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us and any and all the Telltale games then you'll be all over this. I'm pretty sure you can download it on any gaming platform and there's also a retail version of it too. Go get it, it's honestly AMAZING.

It's stunning. The characters are excellent, the puzzles are great and there's multiple ways of approaching most of them and the overall story and writing is superb.

I was rendered emotionally fragile after completing it.

They've only confirmed that it's happening I think.

Tom4784 28-01-2016 11:44 AM

I love this game's soundtrack :flutter:

Scarlett. 28-01-2016 01:03 PM

IIRC, Dontnod are making a game called Vampyr first

user104658 28-01-2016 07:34 PM

So it turns out I already have this on Steam. I have literally zero recollection of buying it :umm2:

..I am so addicted to this soundtrack atm, Dezzy......

Black Dagger 05-02-2016 04:50 PM

Got it today :clap1:

But I got it off the store because I'm sure the journal is cute and getting the soundtrack with it is neat but it was 10 quid cheaper than getting it retail so I can live without.

Are there (real) multiple endings? I'm only on Chapter 1 but I've been wondering this when making my "rewind or not??? :conf::conf::shrug::shrug::shrug: please help!" choices.

Do they have REAL, obvious, story-changing impact sometimes? Or is it like the Telltale games / Until Dawn where the choices only have a superficial effect on the outcome?

I'll enjoy the game either way, would just be nice to know if I'm actually having impact on the story, or simply appreciating a pre-written story without real consequence to action.

There's two endings and your choices don't really change the path you're on but they'll affect it.

user104658 23-02-2016 09:20 AM

Just finished it... brilliant game, amazing experience. I have just one question though...

Spoiler:

How much of a psycho does Max have to be to choose to save Chloe :umm2:
