Would Nikki's return have got the same backlash if she left through VTS?
 

If when Nikki was evicted, it was Vote to Save, and she left because she had the fewest votes, would her return have had the same backlash? Because like, people wouldn't have spent their money to specifically evict her, it would just have been that not enough wanted to save her?

Probably not as much but it would still be fishy. It invalidates the point of spending money to save someone if the one who leaves is just gonna be casually shoved back in later anyway.

No, because the issue was that people had spent money to get Nikki out. If it was VTS, nobody would have voted to get her out, and so she simply slipped through the net.

Probably not, and this is always another positive I forget to add when talking about why vote to save should always be the preferred system. In series where the public have truly ****ed up, the producers could just bring back the stars of the series to liven things up a bit...and without any real cause for a backlash :clap1:

but if nobody had voted to save Nikki in an 11-way VTS against Jennie, Spiral, Michael, and Mikey. I doubt she would've mustered up enough votes to be voted back in the HND (which was also a positive vote)

But they would have spent money to save certain others from eviction, which would later be rendered pointless if the evictee was returned to the house.

I don't think returning someone who was evicted after a public vote is ever not dodgy.

But they got what they were paying for... Whereas those who voted to evict Nikki successfully didn't...

But yeah it still wouldn't be right.
