According to planning documents submitted to Hertsmere Borough Council, bosses want to extend the north-east side of the house building onto land currently used for the exterior eviction set.

As illustrated in the floorplan below, the new construction would add almost 700 square metres of living space – comprising 488sqm of interior rooms, and a 186sqm second garden with its own pool – surrounded by 165sqm of additional camera runs.

Interestingly, one document refers to the new area as the ‘2nd House’ – suggesting that a twist involving two separate houses may be in store for the upcoming seventeenth civilian run.

In addition to the house extension, chiefs also want to build a new exterior set and interview studio, noting that the current structure is “unsuitable for use in bad weather conditions”.

...I really like the sound of two houses...(the secret rooms have been done to death..)...but like the two camps in I'm a Celeb and interacting separately... and then them all coming together as one house with maybe two 'alphas' as well...I think that would be a very interesting watch and add something new...

..I was working yesterday so must have missed it as well..:laugh:...we need to keep up Mr W and have those mods give us regular thread updates on our phones..I do love the sound of 2 separate houses though and then coming together after a few weeks or so...
