cbb/bb unrepresented groups
 

With all the arguements on the forum about the lack of black female winners, I got to thinking about other groups in society who arent well represented in Cbb or BB.
Older people, one of the reasons why I prefer CBB is that the older generation is better represented, and there has been one older winner. They often add a lot to the fun & drama of the house.
Normal BB has only ever had the occassional older person. Last year there was Eileen who was nominated because of her age, was there any great fuss about that sort of bigotry. NO THERE WAS NOT. Ok I admit I quite liked her and thought she contributed quite a lot to the house. Im sure there have been other older people but cant remember their names at the moment.

Other Ethnic groups, CBB can only remember Shilpa.
Normal BB can name Deanna, Siavash, and Shree. I liked Deanna, and Shilpa.
Cant remember any Chinese/Japanese/Malaysian. Can anyone else?

The last group, I could really get on my soapbox, (dont worry it wont go on for long) Is the lack of disabled house mates.
CBB can only think of Verne Troy.
Normal BB can only think of Mikey the blind fella, and Sam who was deaf.
Have there been any others? This is the 21st century the company that runs the show should be able to work out ways to accommodate disabled guests.

What do others think about this, and are there any other under represented groups that I have missed out.:shrug:

We need more Asian housemates in BB tbh. Especially those of Eastern Asian background.

Ethnic representation (especially in CBB) is pretty poor, the producers seem to just put in at least one token black female and male each series ever since BB1. This was even brought up by Darren to Mel.

how many Scots have been on the show, compared to welsh and irish representation. Will there ever be a Scottish female winner. How come when we had a good Scottish female in civilian BB she was thrown out without a public vote (Danielle) and the same thing happened in last years BB. Its discrimination against Scottish women!! :nono: and Winston, who has a Scottish last name, got thrown out the same way this series !!!

After Sam winning BB14 will we ever see another Welsh Housemate grace those doors ever again?

Most Scottish housemates are trash sadly, the only good one I can think of is Danielle :love:

Cameron stout, he was great, even the apple on the head trick couldnt turn me off him..not sure about the beer though.

I have never seen a massively obese person on BB before.

There was that fat girl once I guess, but not many at all.
