Anyone know why he wasn't at the final?

Everyone is asking why Jonathan wasn't there, but not even mentioning David. I don't get it... it is obvious why Jonathan wasn't there - he walked.

Yes David walked too... but him and Angie both for good reasons.

David was genuinely sick, so why was he banned from the final? Or was he even banned? Anyone know the story?

I wonder if it has to do with their contracts. I'm just guessing here....but I think that if a housemate quits/walks they lose their pay or a portion of their pay (depending on how far into the series they go)). They do a couple of BOTS shows, get their money by BB, and they are gone. Since they are not getting paid for any followup appearances, they are not obligated to attend additional BOTS shows or the finale. Since they are not getting paid for it, some chose not to go. That my guess.
