The British press is regarded as the most "right-wing" and "biased" in Europe, according to new research by YouGov.

The company polled people from seven major European nations to find out how they perceived the press in their own countries. They found that 26 per cent of Britons viewed their newspapers, TV and radio as "too right-wing", more than in any of the other nations surveyed.

By contrast, only 17 per cent of British respondents felt their media was "too left-wing". The other countries in the survey were France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

I think that say's that more lefties voted on this, and of course they're gonna say it's right-wing, lefties all life is about taking offence.

Of course our Media is the most right wing, it's way easier for a right wing party to win than a left wing party due to the Media favouring the right wing Parties so badly.

I wonder if they also conducted a poll to find out whether the Pope is too Catholic or if bears **** in the woods too much :think:

Actually apart from maybe up to Harold Wilson the majority of the media have not liked any Labour leader,except for Tony Blair.
Perhaps the one they should have liked the least.

This doesn't surprise me at all this survey,anyone with any knowledge at all of politics knows any party really other than the Conservative party is up against it with the majority of the British media.

Thankfully it seems their influence is dwindling slowly.
The one thing they cannot now get is that magic 40% of votes cast in general elections for the Conservative party which will always make it that much harder for them to win substantial majorities in the future, or in fact even win enough seats in elections to be in govt.
