The X Files returned to British TV with CH5's highest rating for a drama launch in 7 years.

An overnight audience of 3.17 (14.2%) tuned in at 9pm to watch the Sci-Fi drama.

It is CH5's highest rated show since CBB15 launch and their highest rated drama launch since FlashForward in 2009.

I just read that the second ep is better than the first!

My two favourite shows are back : X Files and Heroes :amazed:

Someone on DS said that it isn´t doing that well in the US though.

oh interesting, I wonder why not? Could be that Gillian Anderson is quite popular this side of the world still since she's been in The Fall

It's been getting good ratings in the US, but the reviews haven't been very good.

I haven't watched it yet.

It might have been that they are good, but they apparently expected them to be much better than they were.
