The Goody clan ruined cbb....

Imagine a parallel univere where the Goody's and Tweed never entered the house, substitute those three nincampoops for three genuine celebs.

We all know the final week would be completely different to the way things are now, we would of had the pleasure of evicting 3 more celebs (the walker's who the Goodies drove out), maybe one or two of the walkers would still be there now entertaining us into the night. Im pretty sure Donny would have got through this far and Ken was definately driven out before his time.

Then we would have had the possibility of three HM's who were enthusiastic about being in the show, they would have made certain Hm's (Jo) look like the miserable sods they are.....

Instead we are lumbered with three or four good hm's and less proper evictions than there should have been.
BLOODY GOODY'S!

We love arguments though!
If it wasn't for the 3 muskateers we wouldn't have had much to talk about, apart from perhaps Dirk having another go at someone cos of his Whiskey, or Jo being a grumpy cow.

When people think of CBB5 the first thing thats going to come to their head is the Goodys. Whether thats a good thing or a bad thing, it's provided us with entertainment.

Ken would have lasted longer, and Donny.. both of them left due to the Goodys entering. We've been deprived of some good arguments with those 2 gone.

Damn those Goody's.

one weeks worth of entertainment, think about it the Goodys cost us 6 decent celebrity housemates in actuality......6 entertaining hm's!

He's starting to provide entertainment now, he's getting fans.
Now Jade has left he's starting to come out of his shell a bit more.

It was actually set up to be a pretty decent show before they entered the house, the minute the likes of Donny, Leo and Ken left the house though the show was always going to go downhill because they were characters and even though they were only there a short time they still got us talking and kept us watching, the Goodys came in and all they did was start poinltess arguments at every opportunity, without a doubt they ruined the show.

Yes but the Goody's got the whole of the UK AND other parts of the world talking. Something I doubt Ken or Donny could ever do. (And I'm not going to include Leo in that because it was obvious he was going to leave that night anyway, regardless of the Goodys).

Mike 26-01-2007 01:08 PM

To be honest though that was for all the wrong reasons whereas people disliked the likes of Donny, Ken and Leo but they still had people who found them funny.

Arguments can make for interesting viewing, but I do think the Goody's ruined this year's BB.

There were some great characters in the house at the beginning, and at least two of them left because of the Goody's - and I'm willing to bet that the Goody's had something to do with Leo going as well.

Whoever thought up the idea of putting Jade and her awful family in must have be lacking in brain cells. It's ruined the series - I wouldn't have even kept watching if Dirk hadn't been in it.

Btw, I only remember Dirk being grumpy about whisky once, and he was in the RIGHT! It was his whisky (the whole group agreed that it was his, and they had the rest of the alcohol, which he didn't have any of). I'm not surprised that he was annoyed that they asked for HALF of it. Plus Jade and co had got a bottle of wine hidden under the bed, for themselves.

The Goodys ruined it for sure. Their sub human behavior was the biggest talking point.

Lauren 26-01-2007 01:11 PM

They only asked for it, if he didn't want them to have any of it, there is a word that signifies that response - "no". Instead he acted like a spoiled brat and went into a hissy fit similar to that of my toddler cousin.
Furthermore I actually said IF the Goody clan wasn't in there, thats the only thing we'd have for entertainment.

It was the talking point, it drew viewers in. Exactly!

I didnt know those two had wine stashed away Ruth, those cheeky sows were moaning cos Dirk had hidden a bottle of soy sauce last night.......grrrrrrr

He did say no. But Jade kept on about it. He gave her the whisky anyway.

He didn't go into a hissy fit. And if we're talking about people acting like brats, Jo, Jade and Danielle have been the absolute worst for it.

Those three had a bottle of wine hidden under the bed at the time - they didn't want to share it with anyone. And to be honest, if you had a bottle of alcohol, which everyone agreed was yours - and you didn't touch any of the other alcohol in the house - it's fair enough to be annoyed when someone asks for HALF of it!

It's impossible to speculate about what might have happened if the Goodys weren't in there - we just don't know. The whole dynamic of the house would have been different.

I know!! He had that sauce because he doesn't eat sugar, and the rest of the house had the soy sauce with sugar in it. Jack and Jo were talking about putting sugar in his sauce, or peeing in it. That is disgusting. Even if they were joking, to find humour in something like that just shows what small nasty minds they must have.

the sad thing is they are still in there, you can be sure Donny and Ken would have swung nominations differently.......
