Under Age Girl

Very Wrong

Shaun 10-02-2016 03:40 PM

I'm just staggered he's still allowed to play in the PL.

arista 10-02-2016 04:08 PM

The girl is 15

At least the 28 year old has owned up to it
just the one charge, though.

At Court today children were there
to get his Autograph,
He is a celeb to them.

On Friday the case starts
with A Jury who have been told to ignore the Press etc.

So on Friday that will go in his favor.

As for the other 2 inquiry's

Yep pretty much if he gets a 3/4 year sentence he will be 32/33 to late to start again.

But because he is a Celebrity it wouldn't surprise me if he walked away with a suspended sentence and career in tack.

It's not so much the length of sentence, it's the amount of abuse he'd receive when/if he next steps out onto the pitch and everything hes achieved will more or less be forgotten about now as well. Football clubs are unpredictable, some teams wouldn't stick by him & some would.

Locke. 10-02-2016 05:28 PM

Couldn't have done this a week ago before scoring against us could he, horrible bastard

Shaun 10-02-2016 06:18 PM

I just can't really imagine supporting a club that would literally get points as a direct result of the actions of a convicted paedophile. Not that the rest are always squeaky clean of course but I just don't understand how low on talent you'd have to be to continue playing him whilst this case was ongoing.

(I mean obviously I have some sympathy if she was presumably lying about her age and in a club when she shouldn't have been but still)

GiRTh 10-02-2016 06:32 PM

Filthy nonce. SUrely he cant ever play again?

He had always told them he was pleading not guilty, apparently.

Mystic Mock 10-02-2016 10:00 PM

Some journalists meet up with Sam Allerdyce about the verdict in which Big Sam goes “it doesn't surprise me tbh, he always treats Football like child's play anyway so now I'm gonna have to groom a replacement for him not being able to keep it in his pants.”

This joke would probably give the Daily Mail a heart attack, if only I had an account on there.:bawling:

...that part hadn't even occurred to me Drew but you're right, it's also the negativity in general that the whole team would receive and feel when they were about to start a game and psyching up for it, which is why there would be a big question over any team management to 'stick by him'../'the good of the team' and consideration of all of the other players...also it just brings 'hate' into the game in general with football fans as well....

..yeah but to him in his head it's 'damage limitation', isn't it...a 15yr old so a not realising her age when he groomed her..?...other charges involve much younger children and one a baby/or toddler, so they would hardly be something that he would admit guilt to....

Drew. 11-02-2016 06:45 PM

"Club statement from Sunderland AFC.

In light of Adam Johnson's guilty pleas, the club has today terminated his contract with immediate effect.

The club will make no further comment."

Drew. 11-02-2016 06:45 PM

The right thing to do, It is hard to see a way back for him now.

Denver 11-02-2016 06:50 PM

If he is found guilty on the other 2 cases he is gone down for a long time and paedophiles are not the most welcome in prison.

I'm glad Sunderland did the right thing I'd rather be relegated then have someone like that at the club

Nah, that look says I am not giving up my meal ticket, even if he is a dirty cheating rat that grooms and sleeps with a child.
