I'm glad the dog was found safe

Such a sad story.
Sounds very much like the stress of his wife having cancer had really got to him.
If he had taken to wearing the body suit on a regular basis then maybe it had nothing to do with sex.
So sad whatever the reason behind it.

JoshBB 11-02-2016 07:19 PM

Very sad. This will also undoubtedly fuel more conspiracy theories from the whole "they can make more money by not curing cancer!" crowd.

It's sad really. He apparently did a lot of good work in cancer research and he will forever be remembered as the man in the rubber suit.

That's not a conspiracy theory Josh, it's a straight up fact . Cancer is a multi-billion £££ industry, difficult as that may be to accept.

Oh and yes it was obviously a sexual / masturbatory thing but meh... that's his business. A flatmate of mine in Uni halls actually nearly killed himself doing this. He told us about it about a week later "in case anyone else was ever tempted to try it" ( :omgno: )...

Basically he hung himself from the back of his room door with a belt in an attempt at autoerotic asphyxiation, almost passed out, and in a final moment of clarity managed to unhook the belt before blacking out completely. Woke up on the floor 10 minutes later. If he hadn't unhooked the belt, he'd have been found there by us days later, cock in hand. What a scene.

I still can't believe he told us about it ...

See, I find it disgusting that this becomes news - the man's dead and his family will be devastated, it's awful that all the seedy, gory details become news. It'll ruin his legacy which I can only assume is worthwhile and commendable considering his career, but no let's focus on the gimp suit

I am not going to judge or jump to any conclusion. with the news he received I think he has had a mental break down and when that happens you do strange things. did it go wrong ? was he thinking straight ? seen as it was so out of character and nothing else has been linked - that's what I am going to go on. a mental break down and he has got into some difficultiy or he new what he was doing and ended it like that.
