you like to know a lot of stuff about us.

Threads like this are good, anyone can participate in them and it stops the forum running dry. There should be more threads like this.

I did research my family tree but it didn't really give me any information, was just a bunch of names. One interesting thing I found about that though is that the whole "everyone's name must begin with A" thing goes way back. There's a lot of A's in my family history.

Orphans can't

(my family are from Aberystwyth and London on my mum's side, Germany on my dad's side if you go back enough generations. Nothing overly exciting)

My great grandad and great great grandad were both the Mayor of St Helens :smug:

My dad researched it and he found out that my great great granny's sister killed herself because she had psychosis after pregnancy (the same thing Stacey has on eastenders now) :worry:

I only have to go back 2 generations to find prostitution and skullduggery.

Thankfully it was much calmer on the paternal side. British skating champion who left a well know star at the alter...then left her bstd child for her sister to bring up as her own.
