Serial Killers

Anyone else love watching documentaries and reading about the crazy people in the world?

I'm watching this show now on catch up about Ed Gein and my mum just walked into my room and called me sick but I find it so interesting, not sure if that makes me a bit odd but I find it genuinely intriguing learning about these people who do such horrific things.

(Ed Gein dug up dead bodies and used their skin to make a body suit he wore and supposedly danced in his garden wearing and he made lamp shades out of skin and bowls and cutlery from bones)

One of my favorite things to watch. I use to have a poster of Dahmer up on my wall as a teen too. They're just so damn interesting to me.

I'm very bizarre as well Amy Jade as I get interested in all of the Major Crimes, some people even joke that I'm going to be like them someday because I have such an avid interest in Murderers, Rapists, Paedophiles, and treachery.

Have you read up on Albert Fish? That letter is bone chilling.

Yeah, he's disgusting - nothing worse than people who hurt kids. He was insane, have you see his xray? :omgno:

It feels so wrong watching that kinda stuff but it's so interesting

Mystic Mock 14-02-2016 11:48 PM

I've just read up on it.

Fascinating to see how anyone's mind works like that, but it's turned my stomach which isn't easy to do.

I feel that way, like a guilty pleasure. I don't watch them with anyone else because it'd be a bit weird haha

Cal. 14-02-2016 11:54 PM

Yes, I find them interesting.

I find them fascinating too. I studied Psychology back when I was in college and it sort of linked with why people are the way they are. I find that sort of thing interesting.

Sweet jesus that's painful

It's fascinating but can be chilling at times.

...yeah, there is a fascination with serial killers...it's that psychology thing isn't it, the fascination of the human mind and serial killers are such the extreme in their behaviour...

Exactly, yeah...It facinates me how they go to such extremes, Like me all have bad thoughts like we could slap somebody who is rude but what is it in these people than makes them happy to hurt somebody innocent?

..I don't know, I guess it's how they connect things in their minds and behaviour patterns as well, it's always interesting with stuff like..'he/she was a perfectly lovely child'...but were there any signs there/from very young childhood..?../probably with some but now others because there isn't a 'one size fits all' psychology ...the channeling of 'madness' as well, there are many great art works that came from what was considered a 'mad mind'/a huge force and power of emotions and channelled into a talent that was made great because of that madness..../so a positive thing but still very troubled for them...that's also very interesting as well....positive/negative chaneling...

My friend is one. He came to see me the other day and said he was starving and could murder a bowl of cornflakes, and that's when I knew he was a Cereal Killer.

Ammi 15-02-2016 06:10 AM

...should I hit you now or later..?......(that was so awful, I smiled..)...

kirklancaster 15-02-2016 06:18 AM

CI channel 553 on Sky, is a brilliant channel for deranged murderers and real life homicides.

 Morning Princess.

Ammi 15-02-2016 06:36 AM

...morning Captain Kirk....

..this is a very upsetting and sad documentary movie, so I will say that but it's a huge psychology/'evil' and 'good' thing and something I would totally recommend to watch...it is heart-breaking though...

Jamie89 15-02-2016 03:09 PM

Yeah I love watching things like that. My favourite is probably a documentary I saw on Aileen Wuornos, her story is fascinating (also, the movie 'Monster' is based on her and t's brilliant). Even though she did terrible things she's actually quite sympathetic so she's an interesting one.
