Stereotypes
 

For a presentation (yes another one) I'm asking the class about different stereotypes, but obviously I can't ask them until tomorrow when I'm presenting

Now I've made a list of my own but I think it's more authentic if I get real people's opinions on gender stereotypes.

Just a couple from each of you on male and female stereotypes.

Are you asking for examples of gender stereotypes or people’s opinions on some of the common ones and what we think of them?

Music preference stereotypes

just words on what stereotypes of men and women are stereotyped as

so like

women - pink
men - blue

men - strong
women- gentle?

have those but that's what i'm looking for

if people are too embarrassed to suggest in case they offend the hierarchy then it's fine

Don't do it. Apparently 'Run' 'I Kissed A Girl' and 'Bad Romance' aren't good enough for "favourite pop songs by female artists"

Quite an old-fashioned one (you might get extra brownie points for making historical points, too?)

Women - stay at home and look after the children
Men - go out to work and bring home the dollar

men are more addicted to sex than females?

i have these but this is the right idea

Men can do any job. Woman can not

Men are less emotional or restrictive on what feelings they want to express

Males never treat females with respect whilst Females respect males too much.

Women are regarded as better parents

Women- cook and do dishes
Men- clean the gutters and protect from bad guys

Men aren't very bright and most will end up in manual labour. Females are intelligent and will do good in life.

It isn't socially acceptable for men to drink their own breast milk. smh :idc:
