mmm you have to wonder if a person has that little empathy and such cruelty in them is there anything that could change them into decent human beings?

Sad thing is they will get a shorter sentence because they are kids

You do wonder... this is awful, poor woman. Sounds like she was a little misguided in her life and perhaps befriending local kids was her way of reaching out to society..? Who knows. Absolutely awful... yet another reason to make sure your doors are always locked!

..it's hard to think of anyone being so desensitised from human life, but their ages..../the brutality of the murder...

Kids can be so cruel sometimes, but they will get 8 years in a young offenders home (If that) then maybe given new identities ,to get on with their lives,that's the law in GB for you.

Unbelievable to think children can do this just for the sake of it. Bloodlust at such a young age, it is way beyond my comprehension.

Yes exactly LT,Thompson and Venables were never really punished for their heinous crime,and neither will these two be, it was interesting on the news ,just after that story was a group of people who had conned money out of people and they got a total of 46 years imprisonment,I mean really you couldn't write it could you?
