There’s bad news for fans of Nikki Grahame, as bbspy has learned that her potential stint on Big Brother Canada will not be broadcast in the UK.

Earlier today it was confirmed that BBUK legend Nikki – who shot to fame on the seventh series of the show and last year returned as a special guest for the ‘Time Warp’ twist – is one of four international Big Brother stars competing to win a wildcard place in the BBCAN house.

Fans are no doubt hoping that telly bosses will bring the show across the pond so they could watch what would be the 33-year-old’s fourth full-time stint on Big Brother.

However, Channel 5 has confirmed to us this afternoon that it has “no current plans” to broadcast the new season of Big Brother Canada, despite Nikki’s possible involvement.

Fortunately, bbspy will be bringing you coverage of the new season of Big Brother Canada whether or not Nikki joins the game, so you can stay tuned to us for the latest updates!

Grande Fratello Italy’s Veronica Graf, Big Brother Australia winner Tim Dormer and two-time Big Brother USA competitor Jase Wirey are also vying for the wildcard spots, with viewers able to vote for the two they want to become housemates on the official BBCAN website.

The male and female candidates who get the most votes will enter the house during the first week of the new season, which begins next Wednesday.

E4 previously aired episodes of the African version of the show during the fourth UK series, when eventual winner Cameron Stout participated in an international housemate swap.

The Channel 4 digital offshoot has also aired the fourth and ninth seasons of Big Brother USA, while the Indian version Bigg Boss is currently shown on cable and satellite specialty channel Colors.

A real shame tbh - this would have been the perfect opportunity to put it on 5* or something. Still, there are other ways of watching it - just a shame that Channel 5 haven't snapped up this opportunity.

This isn't thread-worthy tbh, there was no chance they would ever buy the rights

RichardG 23-02-2016 03:37 PM

I wasn't expecting them to air it

Denver 23-02-2016 03:37 PM

The rights would cost way more then they could ever make back from it

Justice 4 Nikki

A shame

Why would they tbh?

Nikki was a housemate on both BB7 and UBB - C4 series. If anything C4 should, although I highly doubt they will cause they hate BB.
