what do you think of the Alien Movies, 1 to 4 + Prometheus?






here's a poll

The first Movie was grounbreaking and awesome -sadly most FMs were not born when it came out

But it was a big deal at the time.,

1. Aliens followed by Alien.

Aliens is one of the best-ever action films.

The Ripley story didn't really have anywhere to go after Aliens.

and that Burke character, so funny

2, I haven't watched Ailens Resurrection I'll watch it some time this week!

Only seen the first one but I'm told the 2nd is the best. Seen Prometheus too and liked that.

well Aliens the 2nd movie, is really good, more Xenomorphs ( the aliens),



and i would like a Xenomorph as a pet, they look so cool :)


and also in the 2nd, we have a human villain named Burke, from the company Weyland&Yutani

LOVE them! Aliens (the second one) is one of my all time favourite films (and Sigourney Weaver's performance is iconic).

I'd rank them 2 > 3 > 1 > 4

(The 3rd one gets a lot of criticism but it was the first one I saw so nostalgia, I also think it's hugely underrated.)

I'm not a fan of Prometheus, it was really disappointing (and I don't like the Alien v Predator films either).

I watched the first one pretty recently, it was great and I found it actually quite scary. :laugh:

I think I'm going to have to get onto Aliens as well now!

I haven't seen the Films since I was a kid but this is how my rankings go of the Films.

1. Aliens
2. Alien
3. Alien Resurrection
4. Alien 3

Ripley is really badass



Alien Isolation is a nice game, but i can't get any further, the alien Always sneaks up behind me or outsmarts me :)

I like all of them, except for number 4. Love Promethius.

Aliens > Alien > Alien 3 > Alien Resurrection

Aliens just beats Alien as it had the action which the first film was lacking, although, the first was still great as no one knew what to expect (for people watching when it came out). Alien 3 and Resurrection are still good films but nothing compared to the first two.

I enjoyed Prometheus but it's hard to compare it to the 'Alien' films as they are somewhat different

Aliens is the classic. "Ripleehhh!". Alien is also good, but they're very different films, Alien is a suspense horror and Aliens is more straight up action. 3 is watchable, Resurrection gets a bit silly (plus I cannot ****ing stand Winona Ryder, in anything) and Prometheus I just couldn't get into at all. Maybe deserves a 2nd watch, I dunno. Left me cold.

I bought Alien: Isolation when it came out but I've been too scared to play it :hehe:

...same, same..I've seen Alien 3 as well so that would be my third favourite ...

I actually liked Alien 4 , it was a fun watch,
