This is why I hate coffee shops

Because nobody ever likes anybody else's cups of tea really. Like ever. They say they do and the slag you off behind your back.

THIS.

The cups of tea I make at home are that revolting I've completely gone off the stuff. Whereas the tea I make at work/other places is fine. I don't know what the problem is? :bawling:

I've even tried filtering the tap water thinking it's a hard water issue but still it's http://www.freesmileys.org/misc/msn016.gif

Do you put in the same spoonful of Sugar into the Tea's that you make at home compared to the ones that you make at your workplace?

Yeah! They've even got the same teabags as me! Everything is the same, I genuinely don't know what the issue is!

I'm assuming it's something water related? Or maybe it's psychological in the sense of it relaxes you more in a stressful environment of a workplace, yet loses it's effect when you're at home because you're already relaxed by being in your own property.

Quite possibly! I'm leaning more towards the water issue, as I'm sure the water is properly filtered at my workplace as it's a hard water area (and unfiltered tap water here tastes gross imo). All I've got at home is a filter jug :oh:

It sounds to me that the monkey's that advertise it can make a better brew than you.

The water is your problem then.

I'm quite lucky as mine tastes alright where I live now, but it never tasted that nice when I used to live in Birmingham, it's why I think that I'm a late bloomer with Tea.
