I have sacked my dirty washing basket!

:hee:

It sat there in the loo and filled up all the time and then I had to cart all the clothes etc downstairs and into the machine.

Then I thought....why?

So now I just carry the items bit by bit down to the machine and stick them in the thing until its time to do a wash.

:fist: that old wicker basket can get tae fck

The key is having users who will take their clothes with them out of the bathroom... My son is not one of these people

yes I have a problem in this department too

Marsh. 09-03-2016 01:17 PM

But how can you put all of the clothes in the machine to await washing? What about if you need to separate colours and stuff?

ugh, my son and step son share a bedroom and I swear I take their laundry basket downstairs and by the time I put it back there's a massive pile of dirty clothes in the corner waiting to fill the laundry basket up to the top again, I don't even understand how it's possible :conf:

I don't own red clothing! :omgno:

But I don't wash all of the time. I only start doing laundry when I have a few loads ready to go and do it all in one day. All of my jeans together etc.

I can't be washing things every few days.

My mum does that. :joker: but tbf all of the Reds make a full load so it's probably worth it.

I've been doing my own washing since I was 15. :first:

my son washes his own clothes... he is 12... I have had him doing it since 10..

You're not gonna let a perfectly good wicker basket go to waste are you?

Uncle Alf's tip of the day
