I've got uni until 1 then going to the SU for free booze :flutter: then out clubbing tomorrow night <3 It's a really big event here with all the students in Newcastle

Perched for the hat and face paints!

Jessica. 16-03-2016 10:32 PM

Haven't heard of anything for it going on around here. :( I will subconsciously celebrate.

On the wine already :clap1:

Alf 17-03-2017 11:30 AM

I'll be going to watch the Mighty Hull FC take on the Widnes Vikings at the K Com stadium.

I'll also watch the Cheltenham Gold cup on the box.

Maybe have a few cups of tea, and maybe a beer or two.

I'll leave the celebrating of this day to the Irish.

Deirdre 17-03-2017 11:38 AM

I never do anything, everywhere is too busy and drunken idiots everywhere you go. Never liked this holiday, don't see the point

I've been sober for over a week

Cherie 18-03-2017 09:35 AM

Went out for early dinner with friends and didn't drink as I was driving, had a glass of wine when I got home :hee: All the plastics at work were wearing green :hehe: No actual Irish person wears green on St Patricks day :hehe:

Livia 18-03-2017 09:43 AM

My brother was born on 17th March and delivered by an Irish doctor. My parents gave him the middle name Patrick. So Niamh has given us special dispensation as a family to be honorary Irish on St Paddy's day. I promise never to wear green though!
