Shearer on MOTD2 about Pep G, suggesting that if City finish outside top 4 he will renege on City contract which has a CL spot clause. :hehe: Wondering if true....

Shearer has cheekily "speculated" on a lot of things that have come true, which suggests he knows stuff and is trying to subtlety hint that he knows.

I highly doubt they'd announce him as manager without it being confirmed and signed.

Even the lack of CL football would allow for pretty much a free Europa League title for them :laugh:

I agree with Shaun that if he's been announced then City will look a bit stupid if he doesnt start the season as their mananger. But the general consenus is that Pep is a three to four year manager so if theres no UEFA CL in his first season then that would be a big problem for him.

We need a world class manager in our own right ty. We need his elite management to turn us into winners again and to scrap out about 20 unwanteds.

(We could be 9th at the end, he's on his way) Txiki has worked too hard on this.

Shearer didn't think that Rashford was fouled in the Penalty Area.

I wouldn't take his opinions very seriously tbh.

MOTD is a fun show though.
