Should Artists Sing Live At Concerts?
Should artists be allowed to mime when people have forked out like over £50 to see them live??
imo, I find it a bit rude and they all should sing live. You're paying so much to watch them live not to hear them mime/lip sync because you're basically listening to the audio version in person. |

Why play a tour if your not going to sing?

Depends what sort of music you're into I think. Alot of that pop crap is just all aboput image and dance routines anyway so you'd probably be better off with them miming for your ears sakes :fan:
I prefer proper bands and musicians who can actually sing though and wouldn't dream of miming :idc: |
No I want to hear the real talent!

If you're being paid a fecking fortune because you're a "singer", I don't think it's unreasonable to expect them to sing live when you've shelled out your hard earned cash to hear them.

I would not stay at a concert if the artiste was miming and if I knew an artiste has mimed before,I would avoid going to see them even if I liked them a lot. The cds and other means of recorded songs are what you buy and as you say going to a concert should be about seeing them and hearing them in person. Otherwise it may be just as well to have videos played of them instead. |
Britney doesn't sing live yet she provides amazing performances and choreography.
