What is your opinion on BB8?
 

Curious what the majority opinion is, because the decline series always created mixed opinions.

I think the series was entertaining and had great drama. It has one of the best first weeks ever and one of the best housemates of all time. The fake week was also very amazing. Overall the tasks and twists were lowkey a cheaper version of the BB7's tasks/twists. And it dies out after Charley's eviction and Chanelle walking, and the halfway house mess just ruined it even more.

i like to see a BB, with more difference in age, some more older housemates, and some more interesting housemates, but that's my opinion :)

I voted 'like it'.

I've not watched since it aired and wouldn't have any interest in doing so but I remember at the time thinking it was generally entertaining. Yes there were dull points, and certainly not one of the greatest series but good enough (if it happened now we'd probably all be raving about it). Personally I think it suffered for coming straight after 3 amazing series, that run was always going to have to end at some point but it makes it look worse in comparison to them, and it also came straight after a sh1tstorm of big brother criticism due to the 'race row', so it had a lot going against it. It was ok though.

Made me want to never watch BB again Tbh and that isn't an exaggeration

The first half of the series was mostly really good especially the first week.
After Charley and Chanelle left it just became **** and boring.

Anyway I love it because there was not one flaw with the female cast at all, everyone brought something unique to the show. Even though it had some of the worst males (Gerry, Jonathon, Ziggy), the girls and some guys managed to maintain my interest and keep it entertaining for me personally. Plus Charley and Nicky are two of my favourite housemates ever <333

HATED it at the time but it has aged very well in recent years given C5 BB. It's enjoyable up until about Week 8/9 where Charley is evicted and Chanelle walks. But the production was abysmal that series.

It's better than 9, 11, 12, 15 and 16 but worse than the rest.

I remember loving the early weeks but growing tired of it in the later portion (mainly around the time of the Halfway House tedium).

I loved it when I watched it but can't remember most of it and I haven't re-watched

I was meh on it when it aired in 2007 but I gave it a re-watch last year and I loved it more.

I've just started watching it. I'm on Day 5 I think and I'm loving it but the first week is apparently one of the best ever anyway. It's interesting reading people's opinions on it (although I have seen roughly the first like 40 days before).

Mess Cal. I'm still on Day 15 lmfao. I'll try to watch some more during two weeks off.

By a Country mile the worst channel 4 series, much worse than BB4.

Probably responsible for putting the final and biggest nail in the coffin.
