Bernie Sanders Wins Alaska, Washington

America is feeling the Bern tonight!

"Bernie Sanders, the US senator who is challenging Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination, has won nominating contests in Alaska and Washington.

The Associated Press called the race in Washington in Mr Sanders' favour with 31% of the vote in, he was leading Mrs. Clinton by 76% to 23.7%."

http://www.itv.com/news/2016-03-27/b...idential-race/

It would take something almost miraculous for him to beat Hilary now, but he is narrowing the gap between them having won Alaska, Washington (where there are 101 delegates up for grabs) and it's rumoured/reported on social media that he's likely to win Hawaii too.

yes Clinton woman is HATED

Good on Bernie

Brother Leon 27-03-2016 05:07 AM

Hilary is winning NY(she will) away from effectively sealing it. Shame..

Still great to see what Bernie is doing. He's made people believe in Politics again. Hopefully he can inspire the next generation coming through.

..l would love him to win over Hilary..it would be like a true American dream......

AProducer'sWetDream 27-03-2016 08:01 AM

Multiple outlets now reporting that he has won Hawaii with roughly 70% of the vote, and that's with 80-90% reporting. It's a small state with just 25 delegates but hopefully this will help build momentum for his campaign.

arista 27-03-2016 08:04 AM

Yes edit the Title
confirmed he has Won that

I assume you know how to Edit the Title?

He has done better than I thought and good luck to him but I am pleased Hilary is so far ahead and with some big States still to be fought that she will surely win.
She is only about 700 short of the numbers she needs.

Very big wins in the 2 States above for him but I want Hilary to be the next president anyway so obviously want her to get the nomination for the Democrats.

GiRTh 28-03-2016 02:36 PM

Good wins for Benie but he doesn't stand much chance; Hillary has a huge lead.

Just found this brilliant clip of Professor West going off on Hillary. LMAO at the Milli Vanilli comment. :joker: She has done all the things he claims, even the the Super-Predator comment. and she is friends with all the people he claims :clap1:

..'my dear brother, Chris'....OMG, I love him..:flutter:...the Milli Vanilli comment is so funny..I love the way he says it/just cuts right to it and he really is relentless, saying that Hilary has no integrity either..that's probably a little harsh lol...but I do agree with most things that he's saying..there is something about Hilary that I just can't take to, compared to Bernie...Bernie just seems to stand up for his passions and beliefs more, whereas Hilary is more of a 'lip service' person...her mouth opens to speak and she says all of the right things etc, but hmmmm...she's just not convincing to me in the way that Bernie is....Cornel West for president, I reckon......

Bernie is the Jeremy of American politics, how strange is it that our political lives seems to be running parallel atm in this respect?
Like Jeremy Bernie has had, for years and years, the genuine courage of his convictions and stood for what he believed in.

And just like Corbyn the media has decided he's unelectable. The man who was arrested for protesting against segregation in the 60', who campaigned for Gay rights in the 90's and who voted against the 2nd Gulf war is unelectable but the woman who worked for radical Republican Barry Goldwater who opposed civil rights, who made speeches as recent as 2011 against gay marriage and who voted for the 2nd Gulf war is the front runner and media darling.

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 29-03-2016 07:04 PM

Go Berniiiiiieeeewe

you do realize that Sanders also voted to fund the Iraq war right?

GiRTh 31-03-2016 01:34 PM

Finally. :clap1:

A week later, Bernies done a few high profile interviews and he thrashes Hillary in the recent Primaries.

GiRTh 09-04-2016 04:52 PM

Excellent video :clap1:

The man who inspired the Gordon Gecko character in Wall street gives superb breakdown on why Bernie Sanders Socialist policies are better for the economy than the 'rich get richer, poor get poorer' polices currently implemented in America and to a certain extent over here.

Kizzy 09-04-2016 04:59 PM

:cheer2: go bernie!

GiRTh 09-04-2016 05:02 PM
