Lady C lands her own TV show, to perform at the Edinburgh Festival.

CONTROVERSIAL I'm a Celebrity contestant Lady Colin Campbell has landed her own reality show following her stint in the jungle.

The acid-tongued socialite impressed ITV bosses with her skill for reeling off vicious one-liners and now the network has commissioned a series about life at her pricey estate.

She has already started shooting for The Lady in the Castle which will hit screens this summer.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, she revealed: "At the moment I’m doing a television programme on me, personally.

“It’s called The Lady in the Castle and it’s going to be about me, Castle Goring and of course my children."

It was revealed she had snapped up the Grade I listed country house last year although it has been undergoing major renovations ever since.

She lives at the 18th century home with her two sons Misha and Dima who will also appear in the programme.

Speaking after a gala performance of Jersey Boys at the Piccadilly Theatre in London this week, Misha said: "We haven’t really got a lot done yet. But we’ve got to film little bits.

"We’ve been coming in and out, saying hi, telling a joke or two."

But while the short-tempered star, 66, is thrilled to have landed the programme, she isn’t keen to share the limelight with her fellow I'm A Celeb campmates such as Vicky Pattison, Ferne McCann and George Shelley.

Instead she insisted they will only grab some scenes if they are lucky enough to snag an invite to a sophisticated soirée at her home.

She said: "The show is about me. But having said that, we will be having a castle-warming ball so some of them may be asked to attend.”

Aside from the programme, she will be putting her acid tongue to good use in the theatre.

She exclusively revealed she is heading up to the world's largest arts festival the Edinburgh Fringe this August for her very own one-woman show.

She explained: “It’s being scripted by professionals. It’s me being myself, so they’re taking my words and plucking it out because I have no idea what people would find interesting.

“Actually I’ve been really surprised that they want me at Edinburgh."

The news has cast doubts on whether she will head inside the Celebrity Big Brother house this summer after reports suggested she was in negotiations.

The summer series usually starts in mid-August, when her stand-up show will be in full swing.

But she insisted she hasn't ruled out the idea and is always open to whatever is proposed to her.

On whether she will enter the Channel 5 compound, she added: "I never say never. I am very happy to entertain any offers that come through my agent. Between now and then I don’t think of anything.

"Life is very simple if you cross the bridge when you come to it."
