I think I get it now. I doubt they will sell this as mixed celebrity/civilian. It seems like they just want to push it further with getting these current tabloid celebs on like Gina and Dexster.

Perhaps I formed an opinion of this too quickly. I mean, it's still not perfect but if this is Channel 5's standard for "celebrity" then it softens the blow (I mean, at least it's not the rumoured TOWIE and Gogglebox folk).

As long as we get a consistent, fun series which has no outside contact, Live Feed, a normal nominations system etc. then I'm happy. I just hope that they don't mess up the series again as the long term future of the show depends on it.

I think the only civillian housemate rumoured to be going in by The Sun before launch was Hazel? Which was like a month before the two-part launch, so I doubt this is true tbh
