What an awful situation. I saw footage on the news of people making their way out of the area, it looked like a disaster movie. No one killed or injured... I hope it stays that way.

I live over 800km away and my city was locked in with smoke from the fires last night. We had such heavy winds that it blew it through while I slept... but those winds are what are fueling the fire so that is not a good thing :worry:

Two have died in a fatal car crash fleeing the city. One was a lovely 15 year old girl, a triplet travelling without her family. Very tragic

It's the worst natural disaster on record for the Canadians :(
Never again will I moan about our weather!

BBfanUSA 09-05-2016 01:21 PM

This is so horrible, it's so bad that the smoke blew deep into the states and I saw a bit of a haze in Iowa because of it.

Didn't affect the air quality really but that shows you how massive this fire is

dahm101 09-05-2016 06:50 PM

Too Dangerous

Tragic to watch...and two things:

That poor fish

And the fire alarm took way to long to go off... Well after smoke and heat could have been detected.
