Do you gamble?

Do you gamble? including any type of gambling like do you put a coupon on, bet on the horses, play the lotto, bingo, slots machines and so on?

I always put an irish lottery on at the bookies on a Saturday (and sometimes a wed) I quite like the puggys too (slots) and I also like bingo (old :hee:)

Crimson Dynamo 12-05-2016 07:27 AM

I bet on the national and cheltenham and the odd large horse race and the odd bet on a major in golf

I used to love the puggies when i was younger but dont now.

Josy 12-05-2016 07:39 AM

Oh I forgot I always buy some scratchy's on a Saturday too

Cherie 12-05-2016 08:05 AM

Lottery, and recently because of LT, Alf and Kirk some horse racing...I think the season is over now though :)

Sometimes place football bets on a Saturday though normally I forget. Will bet on the major horse races as well but thats pretty much it. Used to play poker a fair bit both live and online but haven't done for months now.

Livia 12-05-2016 08:53 AM

My Dad's father gambled away a lot of money, no one else in the family ever bets now apart from the odd lottery ticket. I tend to buy a Euro lottery ticket when there's a bit rollover.

I could remind you:joker: Just joking.

I don't much really, odd times maybe, the Grand National now,I do a lucky dip on the lottery, would never take a fixed set of numbers.
I think if you are going to win the lottery you will no matter what you put on.

Pointless too for me to bet on horses,my choices would probably do better if the jockeys were carrying the horse than vice versa.

Niamh. 12-05-2016 09:09 AM

Not much, i buy the odd scratch card or lotto ticket and there's a fund raiser at the dog track for my sons soccer team in a couple of weeks so we'll probably put on a few small bets there

Kizzy 12-05-2016 09:54 AM

No, I once gambled away £100 on the slots when I was about 19, never again.
I have done the national lottery but not since it changed to £2. Think I've played bingo twice.

Firewire 12-05-2016 09:55 AM

Not really. Sometimes put on the lottery but it's usually my parents who do so.

I like playing bingo though but that's only usually ever on holiday.

Livia 12-05-2016 09:57 AM

Oh, I did lose $20 in Las Vegas on the first day and didn't get over it for the whole holiday. That was shoe money...

The odd bit here and there, but not like every week I have to buy a lottery ticket.

Since I was a kid I have tried to win a home made quilt from the Saskatoon Western Development Museum Ladies Auxiliary... I must have bought thousands of tickets over the years.... but I have **** luck I'm afraid. Soon I will be old enough to just join them :(
