http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...-a7043456.html

one of many massive stories buried beneath the pro European agenda on this stinking government

how many more stories are they burying|?

Marsh. 23-05-2016 04:38 PM

Have any explosives been found?

Sounds like prank calls.

the truth 23-05-2016 04:40 PM

1000s of kids sent home, threats of bombs across 22 schools and threats of beheadings

Crimson Dynamo 23-05-2016 04:46 PM

Look at the BBC bias during the Scottish Indy ref. This is no surprise

Ross. 23-05-2016 04:48 PM

the truth 23-05-2016 04:54 PM

The BBC accounts for 70% of the UK's news consumption, so it's pretty significant when they purposely ignore or cover up news stories like this one.

Jay28jay2 23-05-2016 05:08 PM

What do you think will happen to the pupils who were in an exam/had an exam coming up?

I agree , Marsh

the truth 23-05-2016 05:14 PM

they were talking about diversity in the flower trade on the second main news story on bbc news today....really that's got to be top priority, but what about the poor flowers

Livia 23-05-2016 06:59 PM

Maybe they decided not to give nationwide publicity to some pranksters and scare the bejesus out of kids heading for school tomorrow?

Lol, that's what I thought. I'm sure there are many more than 22 prank calls that don't make it onto the BBC news

the truth 24-05-2016 12:06 AM

they scared them as all the kids were evacuated and the bomb squads were sent in

Northern Monkey 24-05-2016 06:34 AM

Maybe the police have deliberately said not to report it so as not to give it attention. The less disruption the better. They don't want nation wide panic.

the bbc have ALWAYS reported school bomb scares in the past as have itv and sky news. All 3 have nothing on this story anywhere. its clearly an establishment cover up to bury anti immigrant anti eu news in the run up to the referendum

Marsh. 24-05-2016 10:33 AM

I take it no explosives have been found?

thankfully. should still have been reported as bomb scares have always been in the past

Livia 24-05-2016 10:54 AM

There's quite enough scaremongering already. Hoaxers do this stuff for a reaction, good not to give them one.

people could have turned up at schools with no knowledge and the bomb could have gone off. the national news channels on bbc , itv and sky, has always reported bomb scares in the past but suddenly on this one occasion within weeks of the eu referendum such news is not reported. strange. strange too how weve seen far less reporting of the riots going on in france and Greece at the moment. you really don't think the powers that be are burying this type of bad news livia?

No one would have entered a school with explosives in it. If the bomb squad reacted I've faith that they had it covered.

I don't think the powers that be are burying bad news by not giving publicity to hoaxers. Also, not everything can be reported... and if they are trying to bury the news, simply by the fact that you know about riots in Europe suggests that it's not been buried very deep. I don't see a conspiracy here... although that's not to say that the government doesn't sometimes mask a sticky story by releasing it on the same day as something of national importance is being reported. But that's not a new thing.

1 school bomb hoax in Birmingham was reported in January all over bbc itv and sky , now we had 22 bomb scares across the uk yesterday over 10,000 kids sent home and the radical islamist callers threatening to behead the children too. that is news, it was reported before by everyone but not now by anyone so near the referendum. its a blanket cover up of anti eu news. we will have to agree to disagree on this.
