A question regarding Uber
 

So I'm leaving soon and my dad is going now. His card is scanned and on my Uber, does Uber take payment online/wireless or do you have to pay by like a card machine with the card?

I had never even heard of Uber until Angie Bowie made that comment on CBB

If you've scanned his card it'll be linked to your account and the fare will be paid through the internet once you've finished the journey

It's basically an app that lets you book transportation. But the drivers are members of the public.
