Thoughts on "the others" twist?
 

What are your thoughts on the two house twist, involving "the others"?

Is this 2007?

I wish they wouldn't call them "The Others"

I like the sound of it tbh

a week in and sure, it might be crap, but I'm liking the sound of it

Doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.

Voted excited but I'm more intrigued than excited. I hope it's not celebs.

Lowkey here for it but I don't think we can judge just yet until we watch it

I only like it because it gives me Lost teas :hee: Other than that, there really isn't a lot to go for me to think if it'll be good or not. (Unless I'm missing something... is this about Rylan's tweet?)

I'm very 'meh' with it tbh. All that hype of "the game changing" and "evolving the show for a new generation" for that twist. Don't get me wrong, it sounds interesting, but there's a couple of things that are confusing me about it:

A) How is it going to be secret when the second house will be staring the main housemates in the face on launch night?

B) How is this meant to evolve the show? This isn't the sort of twist that can be repeated over and over.

There is more too it than a short tweet by Emma Willis as far as I am concerend

If they are a bunch of Ex on the Beach and TOWIE "stars" involved then disappointed but it could work.

You know what 'The Others' sounds like to me, but isn't probably what they mean? Ghosts, dead people (evicted). Evicted Housemates go to the 'Graveyard' which is the second house.

I really hope it isn't that though. That'd remove the entire point of evicting.

I don't get it, they haven't really explained it fully enough

Wait, that's the official twist? Oh, nevermind then what I said. :shrug:

This sounds fun in theory, but I have a worry it's going to be like the 'In and Out' twist and we'll end up losing good housemates to not so good ones. I won't judge it until it plays out though. The idea of two houses competing against eachother in like a Turf War sounds really exciting.

It's just the halfway house twist but with a bigger halfway house.
