i can remember my worry

when i had this idea

better suited to a bengal lancer curry

the iconic red box filled me with fear.

the local rag did run the story

it was all about the dog and bone

this was my opportunity to be jackanory

i was so privileged to use the royal red box tone.

then it was the transition

because someone broke the agreement

they must have done it in the squat position

samples will lead me to who left the excrement.

the internet is where i breed

but digital spy refused to give me immunity

no matter how much i did beg and plead

it was the same reaction in the village community.

always gone when i went to refurbish

then one day i got Independence

bisham gardens the grove and pond square rarely vanish

so i recycle on south grove and highgate hill with vengeance.

the people of highgate i intend to serve

your acceptance has taken away my crutch

so a smile every now and then is the least you deserve.
