Top models take huge pay cut for Big Brother entrance
TWO headline-grabbing models have taken a whopping pay cut by signing up to appear in the new series of Big Brother tomorrow night.

They will earn just £30 a day in expenses on the Channel 5 show which runs until the end of July. But if they had held out for Celebrity Big Brother later this summer they could have bagged £50,000 each.

A source said: “It might be Big Brother but it’s ‘small change’ for what these girls could have got.” Laura Carter and Celia Kay are among the gang entering the new house tomorrow. Lusty Laura was picked up by pop hunk Justin Bieber in a nightclub last year and whisked off to a hotel in London for a threesome. She said: “It was amazing.”

American bikini babe Celia caused a stir when she took a snap of married Arsenal soccer hunk Olivier Giroud in his pants in a hotel room before a footie match two years ago. At first he denied the encounter but he then sheepishly admitted to it and apologised to his wife.

Both girls have signed to appear on the regular series of Big Brother starting tomorrow on C5 at 9pm. A source said: “Although they are not huge celebrities, they have made the headlines.“

On Celebrity Big Brother they all get good money so these girls may have missed a trick.”

So if they are evicted 1st they earn £90...But if they waited till CBB the could have made £50k?! WTF are they thinking?! :hehe:

So if one of them win they will have £102,160! (If the show was 72 days)

wow, that's interesting to know :)

Josy 06-06-2016 12:55 PM

Yay for regular everyday housemates. Oh wait...

TomC 06-06-2016 12:59 PM

Well they've got bills to pay. I thought they always got paid?

This is the first time i've heard of regular housemates being paid for a civilian series but it makes me go to think did they also pay Zoe too in 2014.

Jack_ 06-06-2016 01:07 PM

The civilian housemates are always paid a stipend to cover income lost while in the house, Big Brother is a job after all

Wizard. 06-06-2016 01:10 PM

I bet they only charge a fiver to get their flaps out.

LukeB 06-06-2016 01:12 PM

Housemates have been getting paid since the first series to cover bills and such

Jason. 06-06-2016 01:12 PM

I thought it was known information that civilian housemates get paid £30 for each day they're in the house. I'm pretty sure Lauren BB13 even confirmed it a few months back

chriskicks 06-06-2016 01:13 PM

two models... >_> hope they're part of The Others gang.

Are you sure? I think that's true of some international versions, but not the UK one. I remember reading something a while ago where they were defending why they don't pay contestants, because they don't have to for 'gameshows' or something.

100%, taking part in Big Brother effectively a job so they have to be paid to cover bills and such while they're in the house

I think it occurs on most shows where the contestants are away from home for an extended period of time

Lostie! 06-06-2016 01:17 PM

As if it's taken me an entire decade of watching this show to find this out.

I knew it was the case with BBUS and BBCAN but never had any idea it happened in the UK.

I don't think it would need to happen on BBAU (the Channel Ten ones anyway) since the evictees got prizes that included cash and cars anyway.

Jason. 06-06-2016 01:20 PM

Makosi raking in £2340 tho :clap2:

(presuming it was the same back in 2005 idk)

Regular BB housemates have always received a daily expenses fee

mess I wonder if Towie is the same because all of them are moaning that they are not getting enough and i'm sure someone wants one of their babies to get more too :joker:

Jason. 06-06-2016 01:24 PM

I thought TOWIE people get paid like how any actor would (not as much obviously) but they're basically acting as opposed to being contestants
