At least they've put in double doors in the main house which will shut out the crowd noise a lot better.

Annoyingly though it doesn't seem big enough to allow a housemate to wait in it, which would actually be a good idea. If they created some sort of holding area with two doors I'd be happy for them to keep the stairs open
