Should regular BB return next year??

I hate to say it but providing that CBB stays on air twice a year for a few more years to come, even I think it's time now after 17 years to put regular BB to bed. Perhaps not for good, like maybe could once come back when the entire format is ends or to celebrate 20 years if it gets that far.

I do think this series is quite good in some ways and in fact I would like to see it being extended, especially if it would be the last one for a while, maybe 11 weeks like BB11?

Pete. 11-06-2016 02:57 PM

I think it will

Maxxie. 11-06-2016 02:57 PM

Yes but SHOULD it?

Denver 11-06-2016 02:57 PM

Its contracted till 2018 so yes

Will. 11-06-2016 02:58 PM

Umm what's with all this talk that this is the last series and it won't be back, like this is really good so far and could become the best CH5 BB, I thought it was on air till 2018?

Greg! 11-06-2016 02:58 PM

Yes obvs. They'd be silly to axe one of their most popular shows

andybigbro 11-06-2016 02:59 PM

Yes it's far better than CBB imo

BigBrotherfan4ever 11-06-2016 03:02 PM

Yes it should, I still much prefer BB to CBB

Maxxie. 11-06-2016 03:02 PM

Just because it's contracted until then doesn't mean it HAS to last that long, Dowling was contracted until 2014. Anyway, I was suggesting that maybe it could come back in 2018 and skip 2017 as yes it is a good series but it's just gotten to the point where it's just far too fake now and I feel extremely patronised by BB producers and I never have before.

Marsh. 11-06-2016 03:04 PM

Regular BB should.

This strange tripe they're airing under the false name of BB should be axed.

It will cost more to break the terms of the contract then to air it

BB with people who have auditioned and have no agents and haven't met half the housemates previously or share an agent should return yes, but it's not going to

Nicky91 11-06-2016 03:30 PM

Withano 11-06-2016 03:32 PM

If it's losing them money by funding something no-one is watching then no, no it isn't...

Yes, I don't care how much better the CBB's on C5 may have been, it's the spin-off to the original format and no amount of obsessive forcing it down our throats is going to change that

If it doesn't return, neither do I

This series is really good so far, almost classic bb level and it's only a couple of days in! So no it shouldn't end
