This series is a massive mess

As a true BB fan, I expect certain things from a viewing angle. I can put up with inane arguments, even violence and sex scenes, but when BB crosses the line and allows scenes of illicit acts, that should not be aired, then that's wrong. The chocking scene should not have been aired and god only knows why they put that out there for all to see. This could lead to a serious accident if copied.

Normally we see acts of stupidity in all shapes and forms and to a degree these acts are tolerated because they stem from anger and incitement coupled with a large degree of provocation.

Its only been a week in there and already we are seeing things that do not fall under the afore mentioned remit, these shocking acts we are now seeing are deliberately scripted and are so deliberately designed to gain a response, that it falls under the remit of reality shows that have gutter tactics designed by numpties looking for notoriety.

The sad thing is that this year, none of these people are normal or from walks of life that depicts CIVILIAN status, they are planted Z listers that have been primed for action by forces that are only interested in self promotion for financial gain. These are not normal civilians and I for one am so disappointed that we should have to tolerate these actions by plastic puppets of the production team. Its all so very false and so far removed from the ethos of BB that CH5 needs to drop the series.

Half of those idiots in there this year could make sense out of arguing with a brick wall and that's not something the show needs, they are so false in their actions that they should be deliberately thrown out for acting as BB isn't an acting academy, its supposed to be a social experiment and an exercise in how normal people deal with whats thrown at them.

What the producers seek to gain from force feeding us scripted acts is beyond me and before the usual ....... switch off if you don't like it comments come flying in, BB is like a good bone that you hope to find more meat on, so chewing it is an exercise in futility sometimes, but an exercise that sometimes needs to be followed.

sam producers have ramped up discord in pursuit of viewers

Chuff Im keeping on with it by viewing the recorded episodes so I can ff people like natilie and Marco when they kick off, just to see how the prods will manage this latest debacle they have induced. The prods seem to have lost control and handed it to the actors, so it might throw up some interesting scenarios.

Niamh. 13-06-2016 09:19 AM

It really was too much, honestly if that's what we're in for every night I don't have any interest in continuing

RAMPED UP DISCHORD, are you kidding me, the producers have had all their best laid plans exposed and have no control anymore. They may have set out to provide us with entertainment, but it has descended into a holy mismatch of uncontrollable sh.te. Certainly not BB related anymore, not in my book anyway,

An enjoyable mess

Cal. 13-06-2016 09:45 AM

It's really enjoyable. BB is supposed to be outrageous and that's what this series is delivering so far. An amazing bunch of housemates :clap1:

hennessy 13-06-2016 09:47 AM

It truly seems like the lunatics have taken over the asylum

hot2go 13-06-2016 10:26 AM

I'm enjoying the series so far....don't wanna censor the show and don't wanna evict the wind up merchants and mentalists either....def need to keep Andrew, Marco, Ryan, Natalie in the house....it's so important we do....I like Andrew, Im fascinated by Marco and I can't imagine how im gonna endure more of Natalie and Ryan ....but we must keep them all....if we don't then all the free loaders are gonna sail to the final and to their new found fame without having to suffer one bit on the way....lets make it hard for them for once ....lets watch Marco drive them all nuts before going into total meltdown himself....lets see Andrew manipulate them all and see Ryan spin around like a piece of activated sewage....KEEP THEM IN

Could not agree more .....to say the series has delivered could not be more accurate .....one week in and already so much.....totally agree with you

Babayaro. 13-06-2016 10:29 AM

After launch night I wasn't keen on this year's housemates and didn't have much hope for this series either. But now, instead of taking it too seriously i'm just accepting it for what it is - A mess, but an entertaining mess

Crimson Dynamo 13-06-2016 10:42 AM

yep, BB changes with the times and it will never be what it was so just embrace the change because change is the only constant

-Sue- 13-06-2016 10:46 AM

A mess yes but look how it has us all talking outrage intrigue it has it all..

BB will never be the same as original channel4 BB which is a sad loss as the C4 versions of BB were my fave. Now BB has become fly paper for many where they get in get stuck and do their best to get seen and noticed for the wrong reasons...

But by golly it has us all hooked .. great series so far :D

BB-Germany 13-06-2016 10:51 AM

I love it so far.

Don't know what y'all expect. And the fact that BB isn't trying to cover up anything is a good sign.

-Sue- 13-06-2016 10:53 AM

at least we are not watching Cameron read his Bible for 2 months eh ;)

Jordan. 13-06-2016 10:54 AM

Maybe switch off when they put the warnings up?

chriskicks 13-06-2016 10:56 AM

it's not bad. im enjoying it personally. excited for the first eviction.

Oh God I sooooo want to hate Marco, I slag off everything he does, but he is just so utterly captivating. I cannot take my eyes off everything he does. What a character. Obviously been so overindulged. The thing I like is that it's how he is. You can just see that. Yes he is attention seeking, but he genuinely is as he is. So many usuals put on an act or pretend to be something they're not - but he's the real deal. A glimpse into 'that world' - something we never usually really witness (unless you watch late night Channel 4 or 5 lol).

In a world of complete hedonism with sex, drugs (& rock 'n' roll), the kinky stuff is very commonplace. Most of us don't relate to it/experience it which is why it's a shock. Those I knew who were often off their faces on coke were up to threesomes (or more), choking (the local bike mainly, who would often be found wearing scarves round her neck to hide the bruises), and lots and lots of porn & prostitutes.

If you're into it, you're into it. I can't really see it being 'copied' unless it's what you get off on. It's not exactly a 'new thing'. I'm sure most people have heard of it happening and that it's meant to heighten pleasure/sensation.

Not for me! Seeing it on the telly won't change that opinion. I suppose others are more easily led, but I'm sure they'd have tried it anyway if that's the case.

Lostie! 13-06-2016 11:11 AM

I'm thoroughly enjoying it :clap1:

Daniel-X 13-06-2016 11:13 AM

It's been brilliant so far. Every HLs show has been interesting, we're seeing more normal and natural conversation too this year and I'm glad BB isn't bombarding the housemates with tasks all the time to create arguments such as 'Who said this in the diary room in confidence?'.

Even though the HMs are probably the biggest set of wannabes ever the series feels more natural than usual.

Yes
and the 30mins Live Feed on Fridays

Greg! 13-06-2016 11:15 AM

Not being funny but big brother has been on for seventeen years, and in that time there's been naked wall painting, sex under a table, Makosi getting fingered, kinga shoving a bottle up her minge, the "open it" incident with Steven etc. Surely by now you should know what to expect? At least they're providing an accurate representation of what's happening in the house unlike when they covered up Jay ****ting in a freezer

Rob! 13-06-2016 11:26 AM

Who on earth would copy something they saw on Big Brother? :laugh2:
Sorry but this "please won't somebody think of the children" rubbish doesn't work with BB - if someone is stupid enough to think copying a person as idiotic as Marco then stick then give them a Darwin Award as far as I'm concerned. It's past the watershed, there was a warning. I don't see a problem. Yeah, I want Marco out because the guy is a complete arsehole but trying to be all outraged is actually ridiculous.
