Have to say I'm really gutted about this. I was a huge fan of him on Just A Minute.

there were rumours about him for years, and it seems that his wife is apologising to the women affected so that implies she knew about it already or at least believed it quite possible.

You echo my thoughts too BOTS, but it is sad for sure. I feel sorry for the victims, but also for Freud's wife and children who are victims too.

I was rather taken aback to read she had said that.

A lot of those under scrutiny now, being titled such as Sir, etc; makes you wonder how easily such titles are bandied about and given now and without looking into the lives more closely of those they give them to, so as to start becoming meaningless.

I feel for those affected by such monsters.

This could be the loose thread that makes the whole thing unravel.

How can men - and I use the term in its loosest possible sense - abuse children in this way? It's beyond my comprehension. It's about time we started executing paedophile who act on their vile impulses. There is no place for them in a civilised world.

As a man I can only say how truly disgusted I am by the behaviour of these sick men? I know they are female peados too but the majority are men, I just cant undrstand any of this, The deranged maniacs must know they are sick perverts, they must know they are destroying these childrens lives , some of them are massively high profile and must realise one day the truth will come out? how on earth do they get away with this all these years

It is really sickening and really too I find it stretching things a little that no one else seems to pick up on what these people are like too.

Most incredible for me is his wife actually apparently acknowledging this was so yet said nothing until now too.

i watched the documentary, and it didn't pull any punches that's for sure. People were aware that he was shall we say, odd. People should trust their instincts far more than they do

Depends how the connection is being made really. If its 'oh he might have snatched her as hes a paedo' then no, its more bollocks. If its looking into the mate David Payne also 'apparently' (according to a statement or two) being a paedo also...then yes. Will still come to nowt though.

All of these 'sirs'...wonder if the police knew about this one too and covered it up. It ****ing sickens me what having a bit of cash or being a 'celeb' can do for these people in regards to covering up their vile behaviour

I am not so sure.

If there is something to this, then I think this could now open a can of worms. If this starts a ball rolling into any links found at all, I'm not sure anything could stop it. It will be very interesting to see where this might lead.
