I love scenes like that I feel like it's the closest we'll ever get to live feed as we still get to see a bit of daily life that isn't loud or bitchinb

Yes lets have them arguing, fighting and bitching constantly at the same time as constantly having housemates in a terrible atmosphere, scared the do anything incase of causing a drama or upsetting another hm and basically wear them right down til they are a complete shadow of themselves and want to leave. Lets do that it'll make for good viewing eh.

I just think we're not used to seeing the mundane things they do anymore because there's usually so much set up drama to show us now that it seems a little strange when we see them sitting doing normal stuff

I think the mundane scenes are a good balance and very early C4. Sadly in these TOWIE/ Geordie Shore eras anything other than sex or utter inebriation is deemed unworthy. Incessant turpitude rules.
