Rio 2016 Olympics Sweepstake

The Sweepstake for The Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The sweepstake will be done in teams to make it fair and more interesting, each team contains the 3/4 countries who got similar total medal counts in London 2012. Team 1 contains the top 3 countries from London 2012, whilst team 5 contains the the countries who were placed 16-19th on the medal table. The top 19 countries from London 2012 are in the sweepstake, with each team containing 3/4 countries. Each player will be awarded 1 country.

The country in each team with the highest medal count will win, each team will have it's own winner, meaning there will be a total of 6 winners.

Team 1:

USA - Jack_

Great Britain - BigSister

team 2:

Russian Federation - Dezzy
South Korea - Vanessa
Germany - Shaun
France - Natalie.

Team 3:

Italy - Pete.
Hungary - Babayaro
Australia - _LucasMichael_
Japan - Drew.

Team 4:

Kazakhstan - Ammi
Netherlands - MelihV
Ukraine - LukeB
New Zealand - LeatherTrumpet

Team 5:

Cuba - MB.
Iran - Calderon
Jamaica - Ross.
Czech Republic - NovoBaratheon

Team 6:

North Korea - Cherrie
Spain - Adam.
Brazil - Nicky91
South Africa - Hayden

I hope it´s not Finland. China, USA, Brazil, France or Germany would be nice.

What's the best way to select the countries?

As there's over like 200, do I take the top 40/50 from the medal table?

Use the number of participants on this ie: 20 and the do the the draw among the countries that were top 20 in the medal table in the last summer olympics.
